Compost

Compost is a degradable thing rich of nutrients essential for plants’ growth. Although the soil can fulfill most of the requirements, adding compost stimulates their growth even more. The best and environmental friendly compost known popular to many is vermicompost. The basic process to get vermicompost is to take a bunch of earthworms in a bin already filled with biodegradable things like leaves and plants. Next they can be fed with organic waste from kitchen and cattle. After few months, you can get a mixture full of nutrients. Prepare the bin out of wooden, metal or plastic. Ensure good air circulation and also keep them in a place that is not hot or cold. The compost to put in the bin at first can be made by tearing a paper into tiny pieces and mixing it with sand with minimum nutrients. This helps the worms to take rest and to digest. Earthworms can meet your requirements mostly; but red worms are even better and can decompose at a faster speed. You can feed the worms with any vegetable and fruit wastes. Non biodegradable things can destroy your valuable effort. After the process, pour everything into a flat surface allow to expose to light. Worms will get driven away from the sediment and you get vermicompost.
