HOE

Hoe is the very ancient tool that is used in the agriculture as they are very versatile tool that is used in the agriculture from the olden days still today. They are used mainly in the weed control on the surface of the soil around the plants. They are also used in creating narrow furrows and they are also used in shallow trenches for planting seeds, to chop the weeds and so on. The main other factor of the hoe is that they are used to harvest the root crops like potatoes and more. The blade in the hoe is different according to their appearance as they differ in their functions. The hoe that is used in the farming and gardening is heavy as they have board delta shaped blade that they have in the bottom. The Dutch hoe is designed in such way that it’s pulled or pushed through the soil to cut the weeds depending upon the country as there is a change in their shape and usage. The hoes are used from the ancient days to prove this as archaeology department has collected different types of spades of different century to prove that the hoe is the main agricultural tool. Thus the hoe is used still now in the agriculture and gardening purposes.
