Mechanized agriculture

Mechanization improves the production efficiency by reducing cost per unit of product, encourages large scale production and improves the quality of farm produce. The cultivation of crops and the keeping of farm animals is used primarily for food production, and secondly the production of raw materials for the manufacture of clothing. Prior to the production of synthetic fibres created man their entire clothing from animal products, leather, fur and wool, as well as fibre crops like cotton, linen and hemp.
